Creating a news / press release is difficult for those of us who do not
have Adobe PDF creation software. It limits the people inputting to those
who are larger with more resources. You should provide a method/ resource
for accomplishing this without the individual expenditure for a small, but
outstanding business

You don't have to have Adobe PDF creation software to create a PDF file.
There are programs out there, for example CutePDF, that installs as a print
driver. Create your document as you normally would. When printing the
document, select the CutePDF as your printer. When you click print, it will
ask for the filename and location where you want to save the file. You end
up with a PDF file without Adobe.
