Kitchen Lighting

can you please help me to find lighting acoustic symbols on plan & elevation

I could if you can bring the plans to the Pleasant Perk Coffee Shop on Montgomery Road in Cincinnati. If that is not possible, look on the plan to see who created them. Give them a call.

My husband and I are building a new house and would really like to do recessed lighting in our kitchen. My question is where to put the lights.
The kitchen is a sort of rectangle with the open end (open to the living room) containing the "nook" area. The nook already has a hanging light over the table, so should we put recessed lights to cover this area as well, or only do it in the work area?

I am having trouble with lighting in my kitchen. I would like to add recessed lighting but the locations that are ideal have HVAC vents there. Our vents are in the ceiling due to a slab foundation. What we had was a 4 foot fluorescent with 4 bulbs in it. It lit up the kitchen well but didn't look very nice.
