I have just bought an old house with large trees in the front. I really don't want to take out the trees so I am happy to have found this advice. Will this copper stuff harm the concrete foundation? I worry about the roots messing up the foundation and maybe I could do this around there too.

I am facing a similar problem due to tree roots in the gargae area of my house. Also there are few benjamin trees in the garden area. I am told that benjamin tree roots can penetrate in the foundation.

Is there any solustion

I trid your Nov. 11 search hint and searched for "painting PVC" and this article came up. Would you paint PVC the same way you recommend painting other plastics? I have above-ground PVC pipe to connect downspouts until gravity allowed me to bury them underground. Thanks.

I have a very perplexing problem. A toddler flushed an avocado seed down the toilet and it got stuck. I've been to Home Depot 7 people were perplexed, and I tried may ways to dislodge it without success. Now I'mtrying to dry it out with a heat gun so maybe it will shrink. Do you have any ideas that may possiblyassist please?

Thanks,

Marvin

If I put copper sulfate crystals around a recently repaired copper water line to PVC sprinkler line connection, will it corrode the copper line? The original problem was caused by roots.
