As a general contractor, I certainly believe that appearances are very important on a job. Chopping holes in OSB certainly can give customers a bad impression of the craftmanship of the workers. In this case however, I doubt that you would ever encounter a problem with this, if they do cover it with Tarvec, wire lath, and stucco. Good luck.
