if it's on the roof like that, what about if the lint needs cleaned out?

I would like to vent my clothes dryer which is in the basement to the roof.
The length is approximately 17,18 feet. Is this a recommended length?

How do you install the vent for the dryer on a flat roof? Thank you much!

That's a great video, Now how do i do this on a steep pitched roof that
isn't plywood, It's 5" boards with gaps between them? My house is a 100+
year old two story, two familly.

can i run my dryer vent from main floor down and across basement ceiling?
HI,
WHAT IS THE BRAND NAME OF THE BEST FAN/LIGHT WITHOUT A HEATER COMPONENT
THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND FOR INSTALLATION IN A SMALL BATHROOM CEILING? I
DO NOT HAVE AN ATTIC. I MUST VENT THROUGH THE ROOF THROUGH AN EXISTING
LIGHT FIXTURE HOLE IN THE CEILING. MY ROOF IS A PUEBLO STYLE SLANT ROOF ON
A SINGLE STORY HOUSE. THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE.

Very Informative video! Thanks. You have inspired me to try this project
myself. I am a auto body and fenderman by trade and in my opinion if you
can do my job then you can do anything. It is a little daunting to cut a
hole in your roof, but you make this project look like a Saturday morning
job. Thanks Tim!

Tim,
you seem to be a pretty knowledgeable guy, but it is just to hard to view
these videos. There is so much waiting while the video loads 10 sec. at
time. I have a very fast connection, the problem is with the host. Please
put a download option on the site, it would be a lot more useful.
