Stainless Steel Sink Installation Video |

Last week we started a birthday project for my wife. She wanted to have this sink added in the laundry room.
So, we cut out the hole and now it's time to see if it fits. I think we're going to be in good shape. Perfect. Check that out. But now it's time to put the faucet in. As you can imagine, it's uncomfortable working inside this cabinet on my back. So, I've got a better idea. Why don't we put the faucet on the sink, before we drop the sink into place? Installing a faucet on a stainless steel sink is not as hard as you might think. You really only need a simple tool, a channel lock pliers, like this and some plumbers putty. The next step is to simply take the sink out of the cut out and place it on a beach towel that is sitting on top of the top. We want that there so we don't scratch the top. As you get ready to install the faucet, check it for markings. Look for either front or back, or color coding. The top of the faucets cartridges are either red or blue. It's time to insert the faucet through the holes. I've made sure the hot is on the left and the faucet will be held in place so that you won't drop it. After hand tightening the nuts, it's now time to use the channel lock pliers to clench this faucet into position. Make sure the faucet remains centered in the holes as you tighten the nuts. That looks great. All I have left to do now is just simply hook up the water lines to it, not a big deal, and the drain line and the sink is done. Happy Birthday Cathy!
