Hole Saws Video

There will be times when your project will require a hole larger than a standard drill bit can do, but too small to use a jig saw. What do you do? Use a hole saw! These special saws will allow you to make those holes in wood, metal or plastic.

The newer hole saws come with an interchangeable drill chuck. You just put the proper size hole saw on the hole saw chuck, with it's pilot drill, and you are ready to drill. This quick change chuck allows you to change hole saw sizes quick and easy. Hole saws make those immediate sized holes easy to make.

  1. HI Tim - seems you are suffering from what is called old age syndrome - your brain is so full that you need to re enter the filing system so you can find out what you need to do - like me! It seems that perhaps you should have your daughter check your emails prior to you sending them out?? I filled in the questions about what I am interested in and then tried to figure out how to send it back. My filing system is full and needs attention so (71 yrs old) and so not able to send it. Keep smiling - I hear that when alzihmers hits - we won't realize that it's arrived!

  2. I have used 5" and 6 " hole saws that give a good hole but you better hang on to the drill and go very slow. A powerful electric drill and a large hole saw can = brow arm are hand if you are not careful!!
