about a flipping tape measure, all right? You know, like how could a tape measure be different from

another? Well, they can be. So here's the first thing. Well, first of all, let's look at this

one. So, you know, this is the DeWalt. It's a brand new one. It's called their tough series

and 25 footer, and that's generally all you need. Kind of cool

It's got the measuring on both sides, all right? So because sometimes you, you actually need the numbers on the back side, believe me

It's got a really nice, you can see it, a really nice magnet here

So I share you that it works Here a little screwdriver that I have in my office So you know that magnet really handy if you working with steel studs

Sometimes you actually want to attach this to something metal on a wall and, you know

pull out the tape to get a measurement. Really handy for that. Okay. So what is the, what's the difference

What makes this one so special or makes the other one useless

All right. So here's what it is. So I've used tape measures for 40-something years, okay

So when I grab a tape measure, and I'm trying to, you're going to have to trust me here

I mean, I just put my finger underneath there, the tip of my index figure, and pull it out

I mean, it should be effortless. There should be no, you shouldn't even wonder whether the tape's going to come out of the holder, right

Okay, so here's a tape measure, 25-footer made by the same company

All right, Stanley, Black, and Decker. So look at this one. I'm not kidding

I'm pulling that and it's not coming out. And, you know, I'll hold it up and you can see that the, that that little L-shaped, you know

clip is almost flush with the bottom of the tape. Now, if you go and grab one of the corners, you know, you can get it to come out
