Okay, so here we have this site, and this is looking back up actually towards the webcam way
0:12
over there in the center, but I would be at the back of where the shed is right here, and you can
0:18
see I've really kind of torn up the ground. There's a bunch of big humps right there. Well, over in
0:22
that corner right in the center of the frame, that's the lowest part of the site, and what I'm
0:28
trying to do is make the site kind of level. So I have to take some of the dirt from up here
0:33
and put it down there. And I'm going to be okay in my situation because
0:39
I'm only going to add maybe about 18 inches of height over there, whereas I have to go down
0:48
48 inches below the grade level, which is the top of the soil, to get to my frost line
0:54
So I'm not going to be... Let me put it this way
0:58
I will be digging through some uncompacted dirt that I have put over there, but it's not going to be an issue
1:05
because by the time I get down 48 inches, I'll be on solid ground below the grade
1:10
So what I doing right now is I trying to get out as many of these roots as possible I already gotten rid of a lot of the stumps and basically get this site here as level as possible And I be using that laser
1:23
level, you know, to do that, to get it level. And we will then have a pretty much level site
1:29
and we'll be ready to lay it out so we can start to dig our holes. It's that simple
1:37
That's what you have to do to get the site ready to go. So you just have to kind of excavate
1:41
I had went ahead and I knew where the outer dimensions of the shed were going to be
1:46
You might have to just spray paint that out, you know, some rough dimensions. Always go a little bigger, maybe three or four feet left and right
1:55
And then you can just go ahead and get your site ready. And once it's nice and level, then we're going to lay it out and actually spray paint on the ground where the holes go
