Hi, I'm Tim Carter fromastaville.com and you know what

We're getting ready to go to Lynn's House. I'm gassing up. The road trip begins

We're going to be driving today all the way from New Hampshire down to northwest of Baltimore

So we're getting ready for the big visit to Lynn's House so that I can help her with a couple of projects if the weather permits

and talk to her about problems she's got inside her home. We'll have more as we continue the journey

Well, we made it to Maryland. As you can see, I'm driving right now

I can't look at the camera. Not very safe. We're into some heavy rain

And the weather forecast for tomorrow, her lens is more of the same, more of this rain

So I don't know if we're going to be able to do the outside project

So I was just thinking there's a weather. I can kind of show her how to do this foundation repair she wanted me to do

By doing it inside, I get demonstrated on a piece of cardboard

So that probably what we going to end up doing So big rain but we made it We down here in Maryland We about an hour right now from Lynn house right now

So I'll let you know when we make it to the hotel and we're going to be doing some home improvement tomorrow here in Maryland

More and just a little bit. Hey, good morning. How you doing? Well, it's the day. I'm going to be visiting Lynn's House here

here pretty shortly. I'm at an IHOP here in Frederick, Maryland, and getting ready to eat

some breakfast, show up in his house around 9.30. And the weather is just horrible. It's pouring

down rain. It's cool, almost cold. I'm just guessing the outside temperatures maybe in the upper

40s. We're not going to be working outside today, I can tell you that. We're not even going to be

walking around the house outside today. I'm getting some energy, getting ready to have a good time at Lins and try to solve as many of the problems she has at her house as possible

One thing we're going to be doing is going to be really cool. She wants to move a dishwasher and relocate it in her kitchen

I'm going to show her pretty much how to do it. I actually going to put in the small little branch line and valve for her so that she can easily connect the dishwasher to the waterline So I going to do the hard part for it

And then I'm going to show her how to do the electric connection and basically get her on her way to save her a lot of money on that dishwasher install

All right, so more on just a little bit, and we'll show you a little bit

of what it's like when we get to her house, how bad it's raining. I'm all fueled up, got some breakfast

We're on our way to Lins right now. The rain is pretty much stopped, so maybe we'll be able to see something outside

I don't know, but it's very, very gray, very cloudy, very cool

So let's get rolling. Let's get to Lins' house. And let's see what she's got going on there

Oh, looks like I was wrong. Right as we pulled out of the parking lot, the IHOP, or from the IHop, I mean, the heavens

opened up. I mean, it's pouring down rain as we're driving east now on I-70 out of Frederick

Maryland towards Lynn house and it is pouring down rain So I don think we gonna be working outside All right we be there in about 15 minutes

We made it. I'm here at Lins. Let's get out, go inside, meet her, see what's going on

Well, we just finished at Lenz. Still rain and I don't know if you can see that

I was able to show her how to do all the comments. do all the concrete repairs and talked about a lot of the things that she had to do at her home

Now we're getting ready to head north again. We've got to go a little east and north up New Jersey

and we're going to end up at Arts House. He was also a finalist

So it's raining, it's going to add some travel time. Let's get going

So I'll be back in a little bit as we make more progress
