Hi, I'm Tim Carter from AskTheBuilder.com and I want to talk a little bit about renting an
0:08
excavator machine from a tool rental place so that you can dig around your home. Let's take
0:15
a look at this one right here. So here you have a really nice excavator. It's got nice rubber
0:22
tracks so that it will not harm a blacktop or concrete driveway. As you can see, the entire cab
0:29
swings around and it's got articulating boom and arm and a bucket it's got a
0:34
nice claw there as well it's really called a thumb and that allows you to
0:40
pick up rocks or logs with a bucket and of course it's easy to make the machine
0:45
go forwards or backwards it's got its own little dozer blade that goes up and
0:50
down and it can turn left and right so that you can grade your sight a little
0:55
bit. And it's basically just a really wonderful machine. It takes about five or ten minutes
1:01
to get, you know, experienced with the controls. But with just a little practice, you can start
1:07
digging holes and digging trenches at your house. And that'll save you a whole lot of
1:13
work. It's really, really a fascinating machine. And they're very, very affordable to rent
1:18
I can tell you that right now. I want to thank my friends at MB Tractor for allowing me to use this excavator to show you exactly how easy they are to use
1:37
They're really, really fantastic machines. I know that you can rent equipment like this in your city or town, and I urge you to do so
1:45
Just make sure you take the time to get trained on how to use it and read all of the safety warnings so that you don't get hurt or you don't hurt somebody else
1:53
And remember, always call the number for underground utilities. Don't start digging
2:00
Just don't do it. Make sure you call to see if there's anything buried underground
2:06
