Artillery fungus is an organism that lives in mulch. It shoots out spores and tiny globules of black crap that stick to siding, railings, cars, and humans too. Get rid of the mulch to stop the problem.

That's a Greek word. And they're sticky as can be. Tough to wash off. They all come from the mulch. It's as simple as that. Now you know what artillery fungus is
