It's really not too cold, but I wanted to show you today a really neat little tool that you might want to add to your collection

It's a portable propane heater. Can you believe this? Look at this little thing

It's electric powered. It's got its own back. own battery built into it and of course you charge the battery like you would any

other cordless tool it comes with a little extension cord that just plugs in here and you

know but here's the cool thing once the battery's charged up it'll run for eight hours

that's nice that's a long time and of course with a fuel tank like this an average

propane cylinder like this will give enough fuel to last for 12 hours so you

can produce a lot of heat with this little monster from this tank and from the onboard

battery. How much heat does it produce? 35,000 BTUs. What will that heat? Well, it

might heat a room that kind of enclosed and maybe insulated 800 square feet That a lot But now first things first before you operate this heater you going to read and understand all of these safety instructions and all of these warnings

Very, very important, and here's why. Two things. When the heater's on, inside here is a pretty significant flame

Okay, so think about that. You don't want to put this heater near something that might catch on fire

like a cloth tarp or plastic or any object that's a, flammable around it. Think about things like gasoline cans, things that have fumes. Number two

what's inside this tank? It's propane. It's a hydrocarbon. Now, if the heater is burning correctly

it should produce very little or no carbon monoxide, but you don't know what may go wrong

The heater could start to produce carbon monoxide. You've got to use common sense. So you don't

want to use this in an enclosed space. You just have to follow the instructions. Everything should

fine. Let's go ahead and start it up. I've already connected the regulator. The heater

comes with this hose, it comes with a regulator. Standard brass fitting that, remember

is a reverse thread. That means that when you install this, you tighten it counterclockwise

and you going to use an adjustable wrench like this that has smooth jaws because you don want to mess up the brass Let get started Here all you have to do The first thing you do is you turn on the fan

All right, you can hear that and you let it run. And it's really simple. All you have to do is push this button right here and the heater's going to start up

Okay, two things, remember this. You have to turn the gas on, in other words, believe it or not

some people will actually try to start this and they forgot that they had to turn the valve on the tank

Number two, it has like a little thermocouple in here. After you start it up, you may have to hold this button down for a few seconds to keep the flame going

But you can hear it, it's not that loud. little heater. Look at that. Yeah. Well, it works. You can think of all the nice things

you might be able to do this, but you can work with it outside. Maybe you're working on your car You need a little heat It really doing a good job I can tell you that right now But remember read all the safety instructions You going to like this little guy Very very convenient

And of course, when you want to set it off, all you have to do is do this

And it's over. It's simple as that. Nothing to it. Remember, it's cordless. It's got its own onboard power

You can carry this setup right here anywhere you want. You can go down into the woods

It doesn't matter. You don't need to have an extension cord. It's got its own battery
