Test of Chat

Hey, YouTubers. How you doing? I'm Tim Carter. I am trying to see something on my own channel

I'm trying to see where this stream, if it's happening, if it's happening live on my actual YouTube page

And I'm just refreshing it right now. I'm trying to do a test to see, yes, it is. Very interesting. Okay

So it shows up in the most recent, you know, bingo. That's perfect

Okay, great. All right. It's working. Awesome. Okay. So, hey, how you doing

Fans, alarms, and lighting. How are you guys doing? So I was just doing a quick test here

If you've got any questions, I'm happy to answer them, by the way. So I'm going to add chat is working

So what happened is I've been trying to generate the URL, you know, hours and hours ahead so that I can send it out to my newsletter list

And what happens is when you do that it seems to break the chat and the chat won work So the only way to get the chat to work like it is now I assume it still working If you are there and you could chat a message to me I can appreciate it I don care what you say Perfect There we go So you just have to just go live and then I just have to tell the people I just have to give them the URL to my

my channel page and then point to him and say, look, you know, go, go to the, to the first video

in the uploads area. So anyway, it's all very confusing. I just, because that's what happened on

Sunday. In other words, I did my first live stream on Sunday. I did it right away, just like I did

now. I just came on without any morning. And the chat worked fine. Hey, Dominique, how you doing

Hi, Vanessa. How you doing? Nathan, great to see you, buddy. And the chat worked great. And I'm

able to interact with you. I'm able to answer your questions. But then when I did it yesterday and

today, the chat wasn't working. It's very frustrating because to me, the beauty of this whole

system is being able to interact with you. And I just, I really enjoyed it. It's almost like an

adrenaline rush for me So if you have actually if you have a question right now go ahead and ask I do my best to hi hey how you doing Dominance From the UK man I just isn technology crazy Isn it wonderful So you know

it's late at night over there, 11 o'clock for you guys. Wow. Just so, you know, I'm a morning

guy. So I would have been in bed two hours before, man. It's lights out for me at 9 o'clock

But that's all those years of waking up early to be on the job site

You know, one of the things I like about this live streaming is I can just chit-chat and tell stories

So back on the day when I would build, I would arrive at the job site at 7 o'clock, you know, get all set up, just kind of get limbered up because we would be banging nails at 7.30

I mean, we were working, all right? And then we would finish the day at 4 o'clock

it was really going to be a hot day, like it was in the summertime, we would start six in the morning

five 30 in the morning. I mean, we would start, man, as soon as it was light enough to work, and we knew it was going to be a scorcher

we would be working early so that we could get done at noon or 1 o'clock

Yes, it is late. It is. You got that right. So anyway I going to be doing a lot more of these live streams They a lot of fun It just it really a magical way to interact with you And I you know and I open to suggestions

I know there's only a couple of us here right now because I didn't announce this to anybody

But if you have suggestions on how to make it better, love to hear from you

And today I talked about a really neat tape measure today, this DeWalt, Tough Series

and it's got a magnet on the end. It's a really nice tape measure

And I talked about this one, which is a piece of crap. It's made by the same company

But you can't, it's designed so poor, you can't pull the tape out

I mean, it's almost impossible to get the tape out. How in the world could they make something like that

All right. So that's the kind of stuff we talk about, a lot of fun

So I do all different things. And we talked about three other different problems today that people are having

So tomorrow I'm going to do something different. I'm just going to do a deep dive into just one topic

And then I'm sure it's going to generate a lot of questions in the chat, which will be perfect

because it's going to be just like a very relaxed lecture in college or in high school

I just wanted, I've decided once a week, I want to try to educate you
