Might I offer another product to your list of high quality vapor barriers?
crawlspaceinfo.com/catalog.html The product is called DrySpace and is
directly available to homeowners without the run around. It is a high
strength polyethylene with polyester fibers for reinforcement (similar to
the raven product)and it comes in 8, 12, 14 and 20 Mil. We will be adding a
fire resistant 16 Mil very soon. These products are directly comparable to
the large franchises (basement systems, b-dry, etc-which only install their
products) vapor barrier but more cost effective. On our site we show the
customer how to "Do it yourself" and offer all the products they will need
(tape, pins, sumps etc). We offer full access to our installers for the
howeowner to ask questions before, during and after they install the
