Right Angle Drill Versus a Hole Saw Video

This is probably a newbie question, but you can't stop being a newbie without asking.

I understand why you used the wood bit vice the hole saw, but why did you have to change to a right angle drill? Did the regular drill not have the power to drill through that thickness of wood, or was it the slower speed?

You could, but sometimes space is limited in wall studs and the right angle drill will fit in better.
