We are your followers and of course I would like to see what your recommendations are but, you have a lot of other people on youtube providing free information about the same subject, I don't know, maybe they have a product that you don't know about and you will not add this product in your video.
I think $15 would be a good price for me, I want to do a good job with my deck this summer and I don't have enough money to invest.

I hope I will see the Deck Stain video real soon. I'm working on my stairs going down to my dock in East Tennessee. Steps face north. Over 20 years I have used a variety of products including DEFY many years ago. The most recent application was BEHR product and I can't find the old container to tell you what it was but I know it was a film builder and it's now peeling. I've been going after the removal of this stain/paint with an slow speed (adjustable) electric buffer/polisher and an 8" disc with Grade 80 atached(3M STIKIT Paper). Then I'm going to open my latest 50# bucket of Stain Solver and clean the steps and railing and rinse well with water. So, I'm hoping to see your recommendation for staining my steps down to the dock. By the way I Stain Solver'd the DOCK 12" perimeter boards and applied Cabot's Australian ? Stain Sealer. (I had this gallon for a few years and wanted to get rid of it.

  9. David Fincher says:

Always look forward to any new and improved deck stains/sealers. I have that job up and coming soon and want the best for sealant properties and longevity. Thanks for all you do!

Are you testing the different types of deck stain, such as transparent, semitransparent, semisolid or solid?
While the most beautiful photos are never of the semisolid, those of us with old decks are forced to go that route.
Have you ever flipped old decking boards to make the deck last longer?
