Hi - who do I hire to attach a hand rail to a brick wall? I’m elderly and can’t do it myself and want to hire a pro, but I don’t know where to start looking. I’m in Philadelphia. Thank you.
All best,
Anthony
hello! We just laid a brick floor in our foyer and it all looks great save for a spot that the haze did not come off of! We tried a cleaner and the muriatic acid after much research but the haze remains in just a about a 3x3 spot out of 40 sq ft. :/
We purchased a 2600 sq ft home in Wa state built in 2000. It is framed with 2x6 studs and the crawl space is insulated. I feel the floor sounds less than solid. It’s not bouncy by any means but something feels hollow to me. This is the third home we’ve owned with a crawl space. The others were smaller. Any thoughts?
Also the hot water faucet has to run for about a minute before it warms up even though the temperature is set properly
Thank you
im 91 yrs.old been in concrete most of my encelife, ican explain the concrete of old and todays product. First of all it was mixed on site in the old days. Today its overly mixed in transport water is added that causes the mix to over heat and

What is the name of the item on top of the roof that spins when the wind blows, I do not have one anywhere and i have a new roof (about 4 years old). My dining room ceiling started cracking last summer and the ceiling of plaster came crashing down, evidently fro the moisture and hudmitity when the air conditioner was running. will i need one in more tan one place and why is it the the roof contracter did not advise it? I had three chimmneys and had them taken down because the four fireplaces in the house, three of them were closed up in the house and the onlty one opened, is in my bedroom and I have an electric heater/fireplace insert.
How is an average cost for that job to be done. sorry this comment is so long,,,,,,
You have very confusing pop up adds. I know they pay for your site, but trying to find your "just 2 clicks" twice I went to Capitol One add with the sunglasses.
Older first-time buyer. I don't have questions yet.
I'm getting a lot of movement in floor of a new ranch with a full basement.
I noticed there was no X-Bracing between joists in the basement. I asked the builder since the home is still under warranty and he just laughed and said we don't do that anymore.
Every single article I read said x-bracing must be installed. So.....what's the answer to this. Is the builder just pulling my leg? I noticed a lot of movement in area where an island was placed with granite counters.
thanks excellent service
Hello sir! I replaced my bathroom fan in my Bathroom. It is a light/fan/BlueTooth audio, it works great except when I turn the light or fan on it will turn the light and fan on in an adjacent bathroom. The two light/fan/BT are the same manufacturer except the newest fixture has an additional amber light. The oldest fixture doesn't have the extra amber light that the newest one has. Not sure if that is the issue but I need to correct it so I dont keep turning the light on in the other bathroom. Also, this works both ways. each light switch operates the light and the other rooms light. Thanks for any help.
