Ceramic Tile Backer Boards

Ceramic tile backer boards are essential for a waterproof bathroom. Gypsum boards and cementitious backer boards are two kinds to consider. Moisture resistant boards are different than waterproof boards, so be sure to choose the best waterproof backer board for your ceramic tile.

Tile Grout Sealing / Caulking

Ceramic tile must be caulked and sealed properly. When sealing tile grout, use a silicone grout sealer. Apply this after caulking the tub seams around the ceramic tile. Remember to clean the area before caulking or sealing ceramic tile.

CSST is fairly new. Corrugated stainless steel tubing is easier to bend, cut, and work with than other gas tubing. CSST tubing is positioned to be widely used in a matter of years.

Stop Tree Root Growth in Sewer Lines

Plumbing problems from a plugged sewer line can be nasty. Sewer back ups from tree roots in sewer pipes can be avoided. Sink some pipes near the offending tree roots and add chemicals to make the soil distasteful to the trees.
