Thanks for the great videos. I am in the beginning process of (trying) to remove bathroom tile from my 1950's home. This tile appears to be porcelain and seems to be very hardy. The edging tiles came off very easily. However, I am struggling with the first row. Behind the tile appears to be 1/2 inch of cement and a wire sheet. I have so little out, but the wire appears to be 1/4 inch in thickness and a wide mesh.
Do you have recommendations for removing this tile and the cement backing? I have pondered the utility of renting a power chisel from my local home store.
Thanks in advance. And, I thought the sound on these videos was just fine.
after the tiles are removed, can I use the existing wall or do I need new drywall? Perhaps fill in imperfections with drywall compound?
