I find your tips quite valuable. I use your tips to guide me in my DIY project, as hiring contractors is not an option. Please keep them coming, and remember, You cannot please everybody all the time. I for one appreciate every bit of advice you could dispense. Thank you. Edna
Please test using real decks . For example decks that have previous applied finishes, decks that have combination old and new wood, decks that have nots in boards. This will show the problems and hopefully the solutions to the problems that we need help to solve.
You are the best. My wife wont let me do anything before checking with you first?
Your wife is a WISE WOMAN...... 🙂 Give her a big kiss for me.
You are the best
Thanks for all you do! To be honest, though, we were die-hard Behr paint users for 20 years, but found the quality/ease of application/coverage (thin and more coats to cover) to be waning these past 5 years or so. Our last big paint job was a kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 baths and a hallway. We switched to Benjamin Moore (used the Spa/Bath in bathrooms). Pricey, but worth it.
Goes on a bit thick, so if you have older orange-peel walls, you really need to pay attention after it dries. You'll find tiny spots of the previous color peeping thru in some places. Think the thickness doesn't "seep" into the tiny crevices easily. But, overall the coverage is great, takes the scrubbing, and LOVE the satin! No more glossy or flat paint for us.
I had my "Painter" friend, John use Behr to paint my shed last year. I did the first coat on the trim, & he did the second one. It looks really nice.
I just had electricity (BIG) installed.
There is an AC Guy, coming to install the Portable Air Conditioner, in a couple of days - Is there anything I should KNOW about THAT-?
Thanks-!
Well Susan, you may want to read many of my past AC columns! Type: air conditioning into the search box here on this, or any, page of AsktheBuilder.com.
