And we all know that, for now at least, the energy used to charge these electric vehicles is significantly derived from fossil fuels. But, with your background in thermodynamics, surely you understand that it's much more clean and efficient to generate energy and deal with its waste at a small number of large, professional power plants, vs millions of individual gas burners, one in every garage.
