When you compare indoor wall and ceiling paint, you should always consider the price. Traditionally, cheaper paints didn't perform that well.
Guess what? There are apartment building owners that WANT A CHEAP paint. They just want to freshen up walls before a new tenant moves in only to mess up the walls in a month.
This is one reason there are low-cost paints. Some look good, but don't hold up.

What you'll discover when you compare the price of EasyCare is that it's substantially lower in price than many of the top name-brand paints that perform just as well as EasyCare.
Why are these other paints so expensive? My guess is they spend more on advertising and/or the stores selling the paint have to make up so much of their soft business costs if they're just selling paint.
A True Value hardware store owner has hundreds and hundreds of other products they sell that they can use to spread out the soft business costs. But realize I used to eat lunch sitting on overturned drywall buckets and I don't have a master's degree in business administration!

I bought some of this paint today. I painted some test patches in my bathroom tonight. I definitely need your expertise in taking on projects around the house. I hope I do better with a roller than I did with a brush.

There must be a big difference between Easy Care and Easy Care Ultra. I bought the Easy Care Primer Pant and it was $28 a gallon. Normally I would buy Valspar as have excellent results with it but couldn’t find on sale and only painting the garage walls.
This was the worst paint I have used since bought paint at Walmart 30 years ago. I only got 150sf painted out of one gallon and the coverage was so bad will require second coat.
Any thoughts on EasyCare Outdoor paint? I'm tired of using paint that doesn't hold up to UV rays from the sun and starts to crack and peel a year later. TrueValue is closer to me than Home Depot so I'd like to see how EasyCare outdoor paint will do. I used Lowe's outdoor paint and it has split along the lines of the grain and now it has to be repainted.
I have an old wood exterior door that I stripped and sanded and primed, now I used Easycare ultra premium Deep ocean blue for the final coats. It will not dry completely, it stays sticky to the touch and it will leave finger prints. What can I do?

I found your review of Easy Care paint for interior and I was wondering if you have had an opportunity to use Easy Care's exterior paint and I would like to know what your opinion is and if you feel that Easy Care would be a acceptable alternative to Behr Marquee.

I've been painting for about 30 years.... Easy Care ceiling paint is terrible and a waste of money. I ended up just re-painting the whole thing. It was 'easily' one of the worst ceiling paints I've ever encountered.
