Love to help you Tim (anything to get rid of that yellow) but the options to answer you questions keep disappearing on my phone. For the record I prefer option one.

  2. Alan Haggard says:

Door three, wall two. Lights through the door, but still some privacy. Blue not as dark as wall one.

  3. Karen Mallon Sharp says:

Actually, I don’t like any of them, Tim, but if the 3, I choose Choice #3. I think I’d prefer a khaki color for the walls and a white or coordinating brown door.

  4. Holly Daley says:

If I remember, your man cave faces East. Blue is too cool of a color. The green is great as you can have bits of medium yellow or small pieces of orange thrown around the room. You know, the things that you always hunt for and know they are somewhere in the room! Good luck with the decision of your fans.

  5. Holly Daley says:

I agree with the comment policy.

  6. Roger- KG8XC says:

Sweet-Orange on the door you won't be sorry !

  7. Frank Nicoletti says:

They are all nice I like #2

  8. EDWARD FULTZ says:

A MAN CAVE IS FOR PRIVACY. I WOULD NOT WANT A SEE THRU DOOR.

  9. Arthur W Corbin says:

Not sure if you have a window/windows in the room now but the "all glass panel" doors not only look classy but will help contribute to the room's light and make it feel more open while still providing a privacy barrier if desired. Green is a good color feeling warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wouldn't use the shade of green shown in the photo. I would suggest a lighter shade. That would be your call.

  10. Robert Coleman says:

Man caves need privacy. Don't even consider anything glass!!

  11. Daniel Hutzler says:

A very light gray would be easier on the eyes and would be a color you might not get tired of over time. Also, decorating with other accent colors would be easier.

  12. Dennis Fetscher says:

My wife, not an interior decorator, doesn't like any of the three, says she needs to see the rest of the "man-cave décor" in order to help. All our walls are a light cream, her choice, and even the expensive art really 'pops!' Just saying!

  13. Deborah Marsh says:

Couldn’t find a link to submit color choice. I like the deep periwinkle #1 best for a man cave. Restful, quiet, etc

  14. Joe Meek says:

I would like to pick number 2 (blue same color as my basement), but when I scroll down on my iPhone, the choices disappear.

  15. mike brinsko says:

Tim: Pic #1 - NO. You are not a periwinkle type guy. The door is o.k. if you have an opening that wide.
Pic #2 - NO. You do not live near a southern beach. The solid door would be good for keeping peeping eyes out.
Pic #3 - NO. The green is not right for someone living up in the mountains....maybe a very deep forest green would be o.k., but, only 1 wall (that you will undoubtedly cover with important maps and papers).
I would put on a solid panel door and have someone paint (on outside of it) a head-on view of a southern railroad 401 steam engine. On the inside of the door, I would paint the rear side view of a caboose platform. Inside I would work in your love of railroads, maybe the black and gold of the engineer's cap, or the blue & white from a blue/white stripe cap...

  16. Jack McCarthy says:

I like the colors of your house. Why not stay with that theme?

  17. Karen Bloom says:

The "urple" looks blue in the picture. It's nice and the solid doors are good and private.

  18. Helen Chezem says:

I went with the urple walls, but doors with glass only at the top. I'd like those to not be white, though. I feel that is too stark with any of the wall colors. The light blue is one of my favorite colors, but not for a man cave. I think of it more for a half bath or a baby boy's room. It matches my eyes, too, lol!!
