I have a lot of rechargeable batteries and (other than the Kobalt which work well and recharge fast for my outdoor tools) I have usually been disappointed in how well the batteries work and last.

  2. Jeff Willett says:

So many smart home devices require batteries. With these and also having grandchildren with devices, we use a lot of batteries.

Am interested in how much you could save

  5. Bill Baur says:

Hello Tim. Back in the 90's I had bought RAY-O-VAC rechargeable batteries(Full 1,5 Volt verses 1.2 Volt for most today). These lasted for about 20 years before we moved in 2019. If they were available today I would probably use today. Thanks, Bill

  6. paul D raith says:

MOST rechargeable batteries are no the standard1.5 volts. You are OK unless they are connected in series. The more batteries connected in series, the GREATER the voltage drop. CHECK the voltage!!!!

  7. John Jeidy says:

Didn't know answer to most questions. My impression of rechargeable batteries are they don't have as much output as a regular disposable battery.

  8. Gary Gehrke says:

Good quiz, I needed to know how little I know.
    Thank You

  9. Jim Elliott says:

We use mix of rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. The problem we have is that the rechargeables that work best came with a charger and there weren't many batteries with each purchase. We have lots of remotes, computer mice, etc that use batteries, so to have enough batteries we would be drowning in unused chargers. Early on, I bought some large packs of rechargables, but they didn't hold a charge well after a few uses so were more expensive than alkalines.
