Tile Backsplash

Kitchen tile backsplash are great for decorating your home. A tile backsplash is waterproof and is available in a variety of color, styles and textures. You can get a glass tile backsplash or a ceramic tile backsplash. Consider your opinions carefully before purchasing. Backsplashes are a long term decorating product, expensive and takes a significant amount of labor to install.



Granite Sealer

Granite sealer is to granite as urethane is to hardwood flooring. Granite sealers must be applied to granite countertops to prevent deep stains within the stone. Not all granite countertop sealers are the same. There are different levels of quality. Look for a granite counter sealer that offers years of protection, and costs the most amount of money. These are usually the best.

Granite countertops are very heavy. When you try to balance one on a thin half wall, bad things can happen. Countertops that are not properly supported can flip and crash to the ground. Furthermore, the short wall needs to be braced so it does not wobble and tip.

Granite countertops are beautiful, but remember, they will stain. Try to keep oils and liquids off of granite before it is sealed and stained countertops will be a thing of the past.
