Composite Decking Interest Survey

Here's my own composite deck. There's lots of railing. It didn't take long to understand how to install the entire deck and rail system achieving professional results. Copyright 2021Tim Carter

Mr. Tim, I have seen lots of composite decking over the years and they all seem to be spongy or sag given time. I’m wondering if the joists need to be closer as the ones with issues all appear to be on 24” centers. If I were to build a deck, I would most likely go with Ipe or one of its counterparts. Looking forward to your articles.
Virtual hugs back to you!

Your deck is beautiful and the view looks wonderful.
I installed a composite deck 11 yrs ago. The installer butted the boards together and used screws to fasten the boards to the pressure treated 2 x 10'. Today the pressure treated joists are rotting, the decking has faded (looks like crap) and the screws are rusting/breaking off between the board and joist.
Interested in knowing more about low voltage lighting. Haven't done any since 1998. Time to upgrade.
Many composite brands have had trouble with mold over the years. I would like to know which brand has the best record regarding mold.
I don't see the survey question above. Seems to be blocked in my browser.
I would like to know is composite decking much hotter (absorbs more heat from sun) and pressure treated wood decking? I have an older pressure treated deck that started splitting due to lack of care by previuos owner. After trying stain for several years I put down the Rustoleum Restore product. Event though it's a light colour the deck becomes too hot to walk on in bare feet, in the summer.
I have heard that composite decking has the same problem.
I'm insuring about the composite deck
