Q&A /

January 18, 2015 Weekend Newsletter

You may be one of my loyal subscribers who's told me how much you appreciate the short Sunday emails, especially ones with new products.

I've got some great ones for you today.

But first, I want you to see what I saw yesterday. CLICK HERE for a BIGGER photo with more detail and the story about how it happened and where it is.

USB, Phone and 120-Volt Charging Station

UPDATE
You know that charging station I told you about 90 minutes ago? Just below in this post.

DON'T BUY it.

I overlooked the reviews and they're simply not favorable.

What got me going on that product idea was an article I saw about another one that's under development but NOT YET ready for market.

So I went looking in a hurry for a similar one.

BOOM, I was too quick to pull the trigger.

Thanks to Mark and Lynda for alerting me to the horrible reviews.

I'll find you a dandy one made by Slater or Leviton.

Okay, I CAN VOUCH for the Milwaukee markers as they don't throw out sparks. They do write well on wet lumber!

Thanks for your understanding.

This front-on photo doesn't do this product justice.

See Update Note above.

You plug this into a standard wall outlet and it becomes a place you can plug in lots of stuff. It's got standard 120-volt outlets on the side and USB outlets on the top.

Your phone plugs into a dock at the top that has adapters for ANY phone.

I'm going to get one of these bad boys for my kitchen!

Amazing Milwaukee Colored Markers

If you've ever tried to use a carpenter's pencil or Sharpie on wet, dirty or damp lumber, forget about it.

Milwaukee has developed some very nice markers for serious DIYrs like yourself.

I've tested these and they work. You'll not be disappointed - not for a minute.

Kate's Lukewarm Shower

Kate had a new shower valve installed. The trouble is, the hot water is now lukewarm.

Do you know why?

I do.

Okay, I'll be back on Tuesday or Wednesday.

My kidney stone saga is continuing. I have to have another surgical procedure on February 2nd.
