Merry Christmas AsktheBuilder 2014

Mother Nature sometimes shows up early.

This year in central New Hampshire we had our Christmas snow a month early. Over a foot of dense heavy snow fell the night before Thanksgiving.

Here's what it looked at sunrise on Thanksgiving.

These are the pictures mentioned in the December 24, 2014 AsktheBuilder Snow Photos Newsletter.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!

I was standing on my lower deck looking east northeast across Loch Winnisquam. It was the most gorgeous snowfall I think I've ever witnessed. Photo credit: Tim Carter

Usually the snow starts to fall off the trees within hours. The temperature dropped right after the snow stopped and the snow froze to the trees. It stayed on the trees for days. You'd think Norman Rockwell stopped by. Photo credit: Tim Carter
