Versions of Music for a Found Harmonium

Music for a Found Harmonium - Happy Music Indeed

I first heard this amazing song created by the founder of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra at the end of the Napoleon Dynamite movie. It's one of my favorite movies of all time because it's a simple teenage love story. The Napoleon Dynamite movie reminded me of how clumsy I was around the fairer sex and of those wistful few years back when I was 15-17.

I didn't have enough life experience to appreciate what was happening at the time. I know for a fact I brushed slowly past one young woman, like a stranger in the crowd at a bus stop on a warm summer morning, and we both ended up going our separate ways. Perhaps you had a similar experience when you were young.

In the Napoleon Dynamite movie, Music for a Found Harmonium was blended with a fun mixture of scenes that helped bring satisfying closure to several subplots within the movie.

Watch the first video below and you'll discover all were resolved in a wonderful way. Then watch the Penguin Cafe Orchestra perform the song they created. I also have several other musician groups and solo guitarists doing it too.

You can't get enough of Music for a Found Harmonium. If you don't feel better after listening, you most likely need a serious attitude adjustment.

The last video in the stack has some great hand-held drum solos and a small monkey squeeze box!

There are plenty more versions of this great music online. Get happy!
